ChapterChic2024 Book Reviews
The Exorcist House
Written by Nick Roberts
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I don’t normally read horror books,I definitely don’t read anything that has demons or possessions but for some reason I decided to download Nick Robert’s Exorcist House and Exorcist House: Genesis.👹 I absolutely loved these books!! I listened to the audible version and while taking my Mom back and forth to chemo we would listen to it.
I was genuinely terrified and sometimes felt as if I was being watched or that someone was behind me while I was listening to it. That to me proves how great of a writer Nick Roberts is, I felt like I was there, I was terrified for their family. I was scared, especially when I heard the Demons voice.( If you can listed on Audible, I highly recommend it)!!!
The Exorcist House follows Daniel and Nora as they purchase an old farmhouse to flip and to sale. They start to notice strange things in the house, especially in the basement that had been sealed off. Orange eyes seem to follow visitors and those people end up dead no too long afterwards.
They soon find out that the farmhouse belonged to a Backwoods Exorcist named Merle, who actually died in the house and had closed a portal to hell in the basement, that has been unleashed.
Can Nora and Daniel and their daughter Alice escape with their lives? Will the demon take hold of them? Who else will die? Download the book now to find out!
I can’t wait to post the review for Exorcist House: Genesis! I can’t post it now as it would give away spoilers for the first book!

Coping with Cancer
Written by Brooke Simmons
Available on Amazon!
I would like to also take this time to self-promote my book, in case you need to read something that will take your mind off demon possessions, ghost and gruesome deaths!
This book initially started as a way for me to cope with finding out my Mom has terminal cancer and was given a year to live. It details the day we found out, what chemo is, how it made her feel, the fights and arguments that we had following her diagnosis. It also describes how my children are processing it.
Both children cried when reading their poems 😢
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Let me know your thoughts on my recommendations! I would love feedback and book recommendations from others!
