Their contrasting ways of coping— his wife sinking into depression and him becoming increasingly paranoid— are both poignant and relatable. Whiteout was a thrilling rollercoaster of a novel that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The story is packed with unexpected twists and turns that make it an exhilarating read. At first, I thought Kris, the MMC would be a typical boring millionaire who ends up being the hero. However, I was completely wrong! Kris is an unhinged psychopath, and his unpredictable nature made the story even more captivating. The author does an excellent job of developing Kris’s character, making him both terrifying and fascinating.

The ending was a complete shocker, something I did not see coming at all. It left me reeling and thinking about it long after I finished reading it.

If you’re looking for a book that will keep you guessing, put you into a state of shock and leave you speechless, this book is a must read!
